Returning to the Fold - Aye, it is Hawk !
Gentlemen and Ladies,
It is my pleasure and honor to once again return to the Kilted-Crew here on XMarks....as an old active member from days past, I have returned....
There are a few changes to note though, as I have returned to the Board here, from Not the Highlands of the Pacific NW, But 3000 miles away now in the Highlands of the Mountains of NW North Carolina !!!!
Quite a few changes, so bear with me folks. I purchased my first home, a Cabin on Acreage, for my new/old Lady ( not that she is old, but we have known one another in the past - another story ). She, Nape’, the beautiful Elder Tribal Woman that she is, family resides from the Lakota and Ayuniwaya Tribal Nations. We have many responsibilities within our Tribal Communities, and serve in Spiritual Positions. Now, between the two of us, we have 8 Children and 18+ Grandchildren.
It has been a challenging past year, moving to our new land, the Covid-19 directly effecting of extended family, myself involved in a near-fatal motorcycle accident in May of 2020 and still recovering, and also not having income ( no, no assistance either ) since the accident. But, we are here, alive and always staying true to our Traditions and Prayers.
So, for old friends here, and new ones to come into this Journey, it is good to be back and here among you.
Blessings to all,
Hawk ( on XMarks ), MshkolahneeManito

I prefer to think that your absence was due to you taking a spirit journey. That is now completed, so you were allowed to return to us to guide and and offer wisdom.

Glad you have returned to the Forum, Hawk! That's an impressive relocation and explanation of your family. Perhaps our paths can cross this July at the Highland Games on Grandfather Mountain!
