Terry, I know it seems a little premature, but could you indicate start and end dates for the 'festivities'? I've not begun to check out the airlines, but if I planned to fly over on Monday 1st August and to fly back on Sunday 14th, would I miss any events? If I did it would really hurt!
Many thanks.
Those are the dates I'm working with, Ham.
If I can manage them all, I'd like to have a gala dinner, a (celebrity or firefighters) kilt fashion show and charity auction, a BBQ, and we'll have at least one Kilts Night.
I've made the bare bones page but have to get venues and dates before posting the page.
And my poor, long suffering, jonesing customers want their kilts made, so it will take some time.

Many thanks for confirming the dates Terry. I can now start to make enquiries of the airlines. Once the travel dates have been sorted, I'll start on the accommodation bookings.
Raphael, you mentioned Burnaby as being an ideal area to look for hotels. I know that is where you live too, so do you have any Hotel names you can recommend? I'll then check their pricing on the Internet.

Well, Phil, as far as I know, it is! That date was quoted by several of the Vancouver Kilts Night regulars, a couple of months ago, but confirmation will have to come from Vancouver, not England!
I have nothing to do with the organising of "The Gathering" - I'll just be spending a fortune on travelling and accomodation so as to enjoy the company of so many who are currently just 'names' to me!
By the way, there is a strong possibility that Dave W., who came with me to the USA in 2003, will be joining me for this trip too. He's working on it!
