Hi!
Box-pleated kilts are my wheelhouse -- they're my favourite. They do not swish as much as a knife-pleated kilt partially because it's simply less material. It's a VERY well balanced garment and I never have trouble with sitting on the pleats leading to anything unpleasant. It's the finest kilt, for me, for all-aroudn wear -- even in my rural western New England environment.
