I have one of these Ranger belts. :

It's dark brown, size 48. The belt is 2" wide and the buckle is made small so that it doesn't bite into your gut when you're working. It's quite a piece of construction. The underlapping (is that a word?) end of the belt goes through a loop in the back of the overlapping part. The leather is thick and nylon-stitched. The belt will probably outlive you, your heirs and their heirs.
I've lost so much weight though that I'm on the last hole and it's still too big. It's a bit stressed, but still in good condition.
