I don't think I've seen a brass long-link sporran chain before, that's super, and possibly worth more than the sporran itself.
Here's a lovely sporran, the price a bit high (around $100 with the posting) but still a bargain.
The cantle is the high-quality sort probably by Frederick Narborough, the sporran possibly by W E Scott & Son.
This cantle looks silver plated. I messaged the seller asking if it has Made In Scotland in tiny letters stamped on one side, the high quality ones usually do.
There's an outside chance it's Sterling Silver. I sent the seller photos of both the Made In Scotland stamp (silverplate) and the FN hallmark (Sterling Silver) to see if it has either.
