I have 3 kilts all are family tartans, Dress , Hunting , and Black background, there's around 30 of them to choose from.
I used to live on Benbecula.. so would wear 1 District tartan.. Dark Island...
I am nearly at the point of ordering the RAF Kilt, as finally my weight is beginning to stabilise (I've got to take in the other kilts!!!)

I’m no math genius, but I’m fairly sure that the vote percentages need adjustment. 😉

I think the percentages are of the number of voters, not the total votes. This is because some people, like myself, made multiple choices. My preferences are surname then area/district.

All of mine are currently "universal" tartans. I do have some cloth to try to make a kilt out of a "nearest family" tartan, but I haven't had the time to do so. Recently, I've also been eyeing the Star Trek tartan as just kind of an amusing combination of things I enjoy. There are lots of options.

Where did you find the Star Trek tartan?

Simple, you have three choices. As you have no real connection to any tartan then just pick the one you like the most. Or, don’t wear a tartan at all. Still want to wear the kilt? How about a nice tweed instead? There are hundreds/thousands of wonderful patterns to choose from.

Surely this should be the Star Trek tartan, no?
