There might be a way of uploading images directly, but for convenience I use the image-hosting site Imgur.
It sounds like a lot of steps to go through! But you get used to it, and it's actually quick to do.
Once you've created an Imgur account, here are the steps:
1) resize your photo to a good size for posting here, say a width of around 800.
2) to go imgur.com
3) click on your account-button at the upper right corner of the screen
4) click "images"
5) click on the photo you want
6) when you're seeing your photo, on the right will be a number of link buttons. One says "BBCode message boards and forums" and click the "copy" button
7) create a post here, then on your keyboard press CTRL+V and the photo will appear on your post, visible to everybody.
