No markings but it looks legit to me.
Not sure of the fur but it might be bovine or something good for USA import.

I don't usually mention military sporrans here but this is one of those examples of somebody putting a cap badge on a sporran.

All of the regiments, as far as I know, had dedicated sporran badges and the Camerons were one of those who did.
Here, to left, a Cameron Highlanders Other Ranks sporran with its badge. Superficially the badge resembles the cap badge, but it's smaller and the wreath is configured differently.
