Updated to include his new Royal Stewart kilt, and incidentally his new sporran.
Notice that his two newest jackets have notched-bottom waistcoats.
I tried a couple times using this photo in the collage, but when reduced the tweed appeared as crazy patterns on some screens.
The photo excellently shows his new tweed jacket, new sporran, and new Royal Stewart kilt in lovely soft tones.

I've long collected pics of Charles kilted. Will see if I have others, or can add some of these.

Would you describe the Royal Stewart in softer colors as ‘Royal Stewart Muted’ or is it a version specific to the King?

No, not Muted Colours. These are match to Wilsons of Bannockburn's shades c.1820.

I've had to add another row to the collage to include both his new Royal Stewart kilt (Wilson's colours) and the Royal Stewart kilt that's been in the family, two of his military uniforms, and him wearing Black Watch in civilian Evening attire.
Prince Charles was Colonel-in-Chief of The Black Watch 2003-2006, and as King is Colonel-in-Chief of The Toronto Scottish (Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother's Own).

This is wonderful, Richard.
For those of us whose eyes and memory don't always work well together, would it be possible next round, to insert the names under each photo or some sort of a key to show that information? I'm not nearly as smart on these things as I would like to be. Some mornings I don't think I even know whose face I'm shaving in the mirror.

Great idea!
Looking over the collage, each image pretty much fills each frame, and the tartan names are sometimes long, so I don't think there would be room for putting in the name of each tartan.
What I could do is number each image and have a key or list. I'll work on that.

I suppose the King can wear whatever tartan he pleases. I hope that he passes on the kilt wearing tradition to his son and heir.
Those ancient U Nialls from Donegal were a randy bunch.

Let us not forget that the King has two sons and it seems that neither appear, thus far anyway, to be interested in wearing the kilt.

The King has had this jacket for a couple of years, when he was still DoR, whereas the one he wore with the King Charles III tartan is new.
