    Five sporrans, three adult and two child, currently for very little money.

    It's a perfect example of the back of a sporran telling us much more about country of origin, maker, and time-period than the front can do.

    But we're not shown the backs, so we have to guess. ("Never guess. Guesses are always wrong" ...the words of one of my university teachers.)

    The sporran bottom right has the classic "D" (diamond) cantle by FN/D&N which, if it's genuine, depending on age, could be nickel, silverplate, sterling, or chrome plate. It appears to be seal. Only the back can tell us if it's what it seems to be, by WE Scott, and if so, what time-period. It could be anywhere from the mid-20th century to today, the back will inform us. OR it could be a Pakistani copy, unlikely but possible.

    The sporran bottom left is more intriguing. It could be from the early 20th century by one of the classic makers, or the crude effort of a modern hobbyist, or anything in between. The back will tell us.
