Being the Scott's are a Borders clan, it's unlikely they had any Gaelic, though there are a few here and there with the family name in the areas north of the Highland line that may speak Gaelic (and there may have been some native speakers in the past).
Scots Gaelic, however, is prevalent in those areas.
Just teasing a little. 
I apologize if it upsets anyone, but I do sometimes get sensitive about the distinction between spelling of the ethnic group (Scot, with one t) and my family name (Scott, with two t's).
