I've already been to one Burns Night on the 15th (our local St. Andrew's Society), and I am off to two more; one on February 5 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, and then a "stag" Burns Night in St. Louis on the 12th! I was the Chairman of our Supper here in Springfield, I may be giving the Immortal Memory speeech in Fort Smith, and I am Addressing the Haggis in St. Louis -- whew! I get tired just thinking about all of that as I write this message.

On this 25th of January, the birthday of the Ayrshire ploughman-poet, let me just wish all my fellow Burnsians greetings and a line frae the Bard himself:

Then let us pray that come it may,
(As come it will for a' that,)
That Sense and Worth , o'er a' the earth,
Shall bear the gree , an' a' that.
For a' that, an' a' that,
It's coming yet for a' that,
That Man to Man, the world o'er,
Shall brothers be for a' that.

Cheers,

Todd
