If you take a couple of snips of the fibers and place them in bleach, the fibers will disolve if they are in fact 100% wool after a while (20ish hours). If they are acrylic, the fibers will remain without any discoloration. You could take a couple strands off the fringe edge of the apron to test it.
So, there isn’t anywhere to send it in and have it tested ? I don’t do good testing things, my expertise does not include cloths.
