    Idyllwild Celtic Festival

My family attended this year which we normally do except it was always in vista ca. I had never been to Idyllwild and it was gorgeous. The park, ran by the county, was not staffed by the most competent of people. There was alot of complaints about how terrible the staff was. But again it was a beautiful place so hopefully it will return next year and hopefully the staff will get a clue.
I wore my weathered McKenzie and my son used his Anderson. He competed in the Stones of Strength ran by Francis Brebner. Another excellent competition. My son placed 3rd so he's had 2 great competitions in a role. My other son and his family came for a day and it was the first camping experience for his wife and kids.

I like to pretend that if my back didn't crumble under the weight of my own body, I too would pass the time lifting extremely heavy objects.

Well done! I love seeing competitions of people who appear super human.
