That's ok, but they also made an ultimatum: I have to wear a kilt, with Prince Charlie jacket and 5-button waistcoat and a cloak. And they are getting me a staff like Gandalf the Grey in Peter Jackons movies (ok, I have been smoking a pipe last twenty years so pipe comes with me). And I have to make a speech. Well, the speech is not my biggest concern, I'm more concerned about my outfit. Heritage of Scotland tartan kilt and scottish thistle in beltbuckle, cufflinks, sgian dubh and sporran. Night blue cloak.
I do not have a scottish heritage and I'm proud to be finnish who dears to use a kilt. But is it okay?

It sounds like they’re going for some sort of fantasy theme? The Prince Charlie probably isn’t quite the coat for that since it is a modern formal jacket.
With the cloak and the wizard staff, perhaps something more Outlander in appearance would make more sense as that isn’t truly historical.
