    New Kilt by Barbara Tewksbury

I am delighted to be a new member of XMarkstheScot and proud to be a new owner of a bespoke kilt by Barb.

Barb crafted a kilt for me in Muted Kerr Tartan, 13 oz., by House of Edgar. I received it on Friday and it is splendid.

    Attached is a resized photo.

And here is the photo on my Flickr page:

Barbara does excellent work. She constructed a beautiful 16 yard kilt from one of the last pieces of Fleming tartan made by Dagliesh for me. They had a piece in hand and I elected to go with what they had in hand to ship rather than wait. I think they ceased operations before it arrived. Wore it to Hoolie at Carnegie Hall last April.
In Pennsylvania. It is my kilt for special occasions.
