My first thought was that it’s the sporran equivalent of Bill the Cat from the old Bloom County comic strip. I fully expect it to have fleas and cough up a fur ball.

I'm fairly certain that's going to appear in my nightmares tonight.

WE Scott plain brown Day sporran £10.

I think what people will really be bidding on is that lovely long-link chain strap.

Here's an Ebay listing with several photos showing how the flaps work and the slots inside (for credit cards etc?)

Oh and by the way a Kommando Kilt with the "designed in Scotland" label often seen on Pakistani kilts. It's crudely machine stitched and has around a 3 inch fell.

Nice to see a fabric content label tell the truth ("100% acrylic") rather than the nonsensical Pakistani term "acrylic wool" which is so often seen. However there doesn't seem to be a country of origin label as required by US law.

Now this machine-stitched Kommando Kilt has a fabric content label saying "viscose Rayon" and "acetate"

More "country of origin" silliness, a kilt pin stamped "Scotland" listed as being from Japan.

By the way the price is absurd. They're asking more for a base-metal modern kilt pin than Sterling Silver kilt pins from the 1950s sell for.
