I may be ruining one bidders day. Shopgoodwill.com has a L & M Highland Dress Sporran up for auction. Only a couple of days left. Looking at the photos, I'd guess rabbit but it's hard to tell. Certainly need as bit of help. Currently less than $13.00.

Interesting design/motif on the cantle.

That fur is pretty rough. I think anyone bidding on it wants the cantle.

Oh and by the way a Kommando Kilt with the "designed in Scotland" label often seen on Pakistani kilts. It's crudely machine stitched and has around a 3 inch fell.

Nice to see a fabric content label tell the truth ("100% acrylic") rather than the nonsensical Pakistani term "acrylic wool" which is so often seen. However there doesn't seem to be a country of origin label as required by US law.

Now this machine-stitched Kommando Kilt has a fabric content label saying "viscose Rayon" and "acetate"

The sporran probably isn't a bad deal. Now the kilts i wouldn't personally buy one.
I've seen to much of their kilts sold at the varies festivals. That you get off Amazon and ebay cheaper for pretty much the same thing.

That's an interesting sporran. The cantle rings a bell but I can't place it.

As I recall back in the 90s or thereabouts some company came out with a line of pewter sporran cantles and that pattern was one of them. I just can't remember the specifics.
