Considering it was the first time in the new location everything went surprisingly smoothly. Numerous people mentioned how much they preferred the level grass over the steep dirty hills of Brengle Terrace Park.
Yes as you mentioned the nearby beer cage was closed on Sunday so we hiked to the main beer cage (which was as far as possible from the piping & drumming area) and got there JUST before they ran out of beer.
You play in the Camerons? Well done! You won everything.
One thing I'll mention: you have that giant young piper who apparently can't find a Glengarry large enough. The solution might be Bear Hollow Clothiers who make custom Glengarries and Balmorals.
