    Scottish-made kilt jackets under $100

Along the lines of the Scottish-made sporrans and bonnets for less that people are paying for Pakistani stuff, here are Scottish-made jackets (with Made In Scotland labels, and sometimes makers' labels) for under $100.

    These from Geoffrey Tailor, Edinburgh:

This with Made in Scotland but no maker:

The Geoffrey Tailor 50L is very tempting, but probably 1 size too big for me.

The brown tweed was probably the right size, but lost to a "buy it now".

I hope you continue this thread, like you do with the sporrans, pipes, etc. though I can imagine it’s a bit of a time investment. While I don’t need another jacket, I’ll be sorely tempted if one comes up in my size in a color different from the jacket I have.

What prompted the thread was that three Made In Scotland jackets for under $100 happened to pop up on my Ebay "feed" at the same time.

That's a rare thing. The last time it happened was when Geoffrey Tailor did a clear-out on their ex-hire charcoal-grey tweed jackets, as I recall around $150 for jacket & waistcoat. (I grabbed the 48R.)

So there might not be anything to follow up with anytime soon.

    That would be me.

My beautiful Stewart Hunting Weathered kilt by Marton Mills needed a jacket to pair with it. My green tweed and my guncheck tweed didn’t go well with it, so this was a good solution at a great price.

My Gaelic Themes tweeds are 48R, so if it doesn't fit (but really is a 48R) we can talk at the Waukesha games
