    I ordered a 500gram bag for swatches of different tartars from the Scotland shop, https://www.scotlandshop.com/tartan/fabric-swatches

    They are great and you can search for the fabric you like and choose the sizes right from swatches up to meters and meters!

    We might be twins separated at birth....

    My early pleating would have been somewhat alarming to a purist, but I am still wearing a kilt made from a duvet cover, although quite a few of my early efforts have gone to dusters.

    I did have a burst of buying stuff from Temu recently and I have found that some small metal clothes pegs are really useful for forming pleats quickly, and also making corrections when things end up just slightly off.

    There have been deliveries for some time now, all really useful bits and pieces which cost very little and have made my sewing easier.
