Seattle Kilt Night?
Out of curiosity, is there a kilt night that anyone knows of in Seattle? I see the Vancouver and Portland, OR. nights, but that is a bit far to go for a pint.
If there isn't one, does anyone have an idea of where one could be started?

While it is far to come for a pint, please make sure you check out the Gathering in Vancouver this August http://bearkilts.com/gathering/gathering2.html

When will there be more detailed information? I think that my wife and I would really enjoy the festival... Looking forward to hearing more.
Thanks,

George, I was doing something similar last spring with a couple guys, but, if we want to restart it, I was thinking something like either the 2nd or 3rd Saturday of the month, at the Celtic Bayou in Redmond. If you want to pass the information on to the guys on the Utilikilts group, I know we were talking about it there, too.

Raphael is working feverishly on going more info. He and I have met to discuss, as have Bear, Toddish, abd Raphael. As soon as we have more info, we will post for all to see.

Celtic Bayou seems like a great idea. Someplace that a group could take over on a Saturday. I am a UK wearer, but not really connected w/ the UK folks. I'll see what I can do though.

Thinking Feb 19th might be a good day... I should be finished with all the stuff I've going on these two weeks.

I think that I'm going to be out of town that weekend, but who knows. How many people would you expect that we could get out? Also, is the Celtic Bayou a non-smoking bar? One way or the other is not a killer, but I do like to smoke when I'm having a pint.

I don't think it is. I may be away myself, helping a friend out with his car's engine swap.

Celtic Bayou
I'm interested in attending. Though either Feb. 12th or Feb. 26th would work better for me.
My home phone number is 206/547-3245
