my first kilt...
My first kilt was a Canadian Army surplus kilt from the Black Watch of Canada, made in Glasgow. I wore it as part of the British reenacting unit that I was part of.
It was a "horse-blanket", 20 oz. weight wool, but it was a "tank", as Jimmy is want to call them!
Cheers,
Todd
