Sewing pleats in sportkilt
I took mine to an old Italian tailor and he sewed in each pleat edge, inner and outer, and also sewed them together at the top few inches. He did a great job, and it was just what I wanted.
Charged me $25, but said it was a pain in the *** to do all that stitching. Tried to pay him extra because I use him for a lot of things, and he's semi-retired and certainly can't be rolling in dough, but he refused more.
