I started thinking about the shirts with the kilt... and it's really not different that a pair of shorts in this case. Kilt, sporran, hose and boots with the shirts would look AWEFUL. Kilt, sandals, and the shirts would be bearable.

I MUST agree with The King of Fashion & Common Sense... I mean Hamish. The UtiliKilts and Pittsburgh Kilts would be nice. A tartan would have you looking like you're in need of "telethon" funds.

Today was Denver's St Patrick's Day Parade and one of the entrants was the Parrot Head Club of Denver. They were playing those tunes all along the parade route, and several of the members were kilted. All wore Utilikilts it looked like and were wearing the colorful shirts that they are known for. And yes Hamish, all but one of them had them tucked in, it was great!
