The first time I golfed I wore a a kilt. Why did I wear a kilt? Because it's what I wear. I might as well say "I ate lunch this afternoon wearing a kilt." I didn't give any thought to it, because why should I wear anything else? In fact, the only time I haven't worn a kilt in the past year and a half is when I go rock climbing. There's no way a kilt is practical for that activity. For almost anything else, though....
I've curled in a kilt as well, another traditional Scottish game, wearing traditional Scottish garb.
Andrew.
