Great look, Ham! Of course, I am biased because I own a GT Doublet of my own. I bought mine because it presents a nice alternative to a coatee and isn't so fussy as a lot of the other military styled jackets.
In my case I wear the GT doublet with a mandarin or banded collar dress shirt with button cover. I wasn't sure how this would look, but after getting the idea I bounced it off of Tristan at Geoffrey who made an inquiry of Charles [Highland dress Mgr]. Both thought it was a great idea, and it presents a look that is a little different.
The GT doublet is certainly smart looking, and it doesn't require a bow-tie. The jabot looks good on Ham, but not on me. I do own a Highland cravat that is a much more plain version of the jabot, but so far haven't had occasion to wear it.
