You know, with the way we bicker and bitch, we act like family. We have a few black sheep, a couple of peace makers, some wallflowers, and pretty much everything that constitutes a family. And if we are a family, that would make us a Clan. Which would make us Clan X. For all the throw aways, cast aways, thimble blooded Scotts, eccentrics, all races, denominations, creeds, and cultures. Signified of course by the X, which is a random factor. As a Clan, we should by all means have a tartan. I know I would save my pennies... Not to get a tie mind you, a tie is a noose in my book, but I would most certainly get a kilt, even if it were only a 4 yard.
What would we have to do to form our own Clan and gain our own tartan? Seriously... I am curious. For those of us with no family ties, it would create a tartan people, er, clan members would be "entitled" to, which would make some folk more comfortable, and, you never know, might get one or two more guys in a kilt, which is our mission, should we choose to accept it.
