Matt and Cyndi I do believe you are correct. That would be more than 4 yards. I just assumed that because it wasn't pleated to the sett that it wasn't a full 8 yards.
I also agree with Cyndi that Anderson is a beautiful tartan but I'm probably biased as it is also my clan affiliation. Its too bad more of the Anderson variations aren't available in stock tartans like the Anderson dress or hunting. Usually the modern, andient or muted, which are basically the same but with different color tones, are kept in stock. Of course, with so many beautiful registered tartans out there, there is no way mills could realistically keep all of them on hand.
Inaki, are you thinking about bidding on this kilt? (Just being nosey)
