I really, truly like that tartan. It just seems 'right' to me. I like the symbolism and the aesthetic qualities of the design. I think it's understated without being boring, which is ideal for a tartan one will want to wear a lot.
My personal opinion is that it's a great tartan and as long as everyone likes it, why not go with it?

If people are wanting to get non woolen cloth woven, I know of a source, but the minumum run is 60 yards for cotton and something like 120 (if I remember right) for poly blends. So we are talking dinero there... and really, are there enough people who might want this tartan to justify an 0rder for 120 yards of poly-acrylic.
Anyway, I may let someone else handle that aspect of things. But if it's wool you want (either for a kilt, or just the cloth) let me know.
