Tunes of Glory is one of my favourite movies. I recently bought it on DVD at HMV; you can read the reviews of it there. It's got Alec Guinness, John Mills, Dennis Price, and a whole mess (
) of British actors/actresses. It's about the struggle for command of a Scottish regiment after the Second World War. It's definitely not an action movie, but it is a great depiction of life as an officer in a Scottish regiment. I think Guinness once said that it was his favourite role. It's got lots of kilts, piping, dancing and drinking. I'd heartily recommend it.
Sorry, if this topic has come up before, but this movie really gets me enthused! "Whisky, for the gentlemen that like it, and for the gentlemen that don't like it, whisky!"
"Touch not the cat bot a glove."
