I vaguely remember the place, but I'm sure there are folks who've been in Edinburgh since I have. I remember seeing kilts for roughly 140 pounds that I am VERY glad, I didn't get suckered into (it would have been my first tartan).
I would be interested in hearing more though.

I am sure once again we are being confused with as Hamish quoted when he called it " the notorious gold Bros.". We are not them and we retail kilts that are HAND-STITCHED AND NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH WHAT "OTHERS" ARE CALLING "HANDMADE" ......please be sure to ask when buying your kilts. We have been informed and confirmed that there are kilts in Edinburgh being offered as "handmade" and this means that those kilts are being picked up "by hand" and placed under the sewing machine. They are not hand-stitched using the traditional Scottish techniques.
