    Exactly. I'm intrigued. It would be nice to have a somewhat unique but still classy option for formal wear. I think it would look good with a short tux jacket, but not at $650.

    Aye, at 650, thats almost as much as a leather kilt, and if I was going to get another UK, It'd be that one over a tux... then again I dont have a tux jacket, so that's a factor too....

    I think the market for it is people who like kilts and other MUGS but don't neccasarily like or want to wear Tartan.
    Generally speaking most of us on here like tartans, at least some, but some people out there don't. so that is a formal option for them. I know that people have worn UK with formal attire but I don't think for me it would work. But that is the market, I agree 650 is steep., but that was the last price, you never know what the future holds.

    If that's the case, then get a standard kilt made from a solid black cloth. I've seen it done. It looks great. A lot more classy looking than the UK Tux kilt. And at half the cost!
