I admit that I do not understand all this comotion about what to wear under a kilt. I believe that "going regimental" was a response to the hygenic problems faced by soldiers in WWI. I do not expect to spend months on end in a mud filled trench, so the hygenic problem does not worry me.
I admit that I wear something under my kilt, short loose fit boxer briefs in knit cotton to be exact. Its just more comfortable and it keeps me from exposing a little too much when I climb a ladder.
Wear what you want and what is comfortable. If someone wants to go natural more power too them. I just choose to keep something between my bits and my kilt.
Aren't there a bunch of threads on this topic already?
