    New sporran

I just got an e-mail, announcing that my new Freelander was ready to be sent to the States.

I asked David if it could be "toned down" a bit (less ornamentation) and just look at how sophisticated it turned out to be. Imagine this jewel, suspended by a Freelander braided strap and try not to drool as you do it.

Pardon me, I'm off to check the mail...

No drool here...I got two Freelanders hanging from RKilt leather sporran straps...

Does look very nice toned down a bit...always an option for any of us.

Kicking myself. Was in a bead store in Flagstaff a week ago and NEVER thought about picking up some fancy beads to interchange on my Freelanders.

Gonna take them along next trip down to the big city. Would be cool to be able to accessorize by changing out the dangly deals with different beads or beadlike gee gaws.

Mine was in the mail on the 10th of april, and I still haven't gotten it yet. I hope there's not someone at customs with a beautiful brown freelander that was meant for me.

Can anybody [canadians especially] tell me how long it took for their sporrans to arrive?

It took about 2 weeks for mine and about the same for Raphael's.

I got a black and green one recently, it only has small bits of horn on the end but I'll take them off. My wife doesn't like the way they swing around when I walk.

Another favourite sporran is the Rkilts one, it too is a great design, I like the low profile of it, it doesn't stick out at all yet is very roomy.

The one I got had gold bits on it, which didn't match any of my belt buckles, so Robert took it back and changed them all over for me. Now that's service!

Ron, I've a BK Rob Roy on an RKilt strap. I like that combination, too.

David, it just walked in the door.

The picture does not do it any justice. The workmanship is incredible. I am in awe of how nice it truly looks.

    Many thanks!
