In a world where the majority of people are cynical or just plain areseholes, I see no need to be equally rude to people that have gathered the confidence to express what they see as kinmanship. I can guarantee that I have come across more people in kilts, or people that own kilts in Vancouver than a lot of people (except maybe Philly which seems to be little Scotland ). Some of these people have had kilts on backwards, or womens kilted skirts, or they are wearing some variation of a "kilt". Have a been a dink to them? did I lecture them or what they were wearing? or look down on them because they did not their kilts as much as me? hell no!

I have said it before and I will say it again, the so called "weekend Wallaces" (dumb f**king term if you ask me) are the ones that kept kilts around for the last 200 years, they are still the majority and deserve respect for having the balls to wear a kilt at all. Let's stop taking away from the traditions of the kilt, so that we can feel more comfortable wearing a moderized variation of it.
