Be cautious in the tartan you select. I sort of feel like a bait and switch. This is the email I got after ordering and seeing the final price as quoted here on the board.

The tartan fabric that you have chosen is a special weave which can only be set up on a single width loom, which is 70 cm wide rather than the usual 140 cm, therefore it takes twice as much material to make an eight yard kilt (7.4M rather than 3.7M).

This, unfortunately incurs a GBP 100.00 surcharge. If you are willing to pay this please authorise it via E mail and I will place the order."
