Haha! I don't know why you are all so surprised!! It had to happen sooner or later. Rocky did try very hard to please me, but it's really the traditional style of kilt I love best.
To have that style in solid is the 'best of both worlds' to me.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see how the Utility Kilt style can have the same flow and swing of the softer materials. However, for work I would appreciate the toughness of the duck-type materials.
This wool looks pretty tough though. It only arrived the other day, I've not worn it away from home yet.
I will monitor and record the comments, but so far all who have seen it love it (except my wife, who is not sure yet).
This is a bold experiment insofar that to the best of my knowledge, it's the first solid in Tasmania.
