Ron, if you see a forum section with a lock symbol on it, then it means you are not logged in and that section requires that you log in to post.
If you need help getting that avatar back, go up to the top of the page and click on User CP then click on Edit Avatar, over in the left column of the next page. And you're in! ;)

Hank, this software is real nice. I know you still have more to do but it's great so far.

morning Hank,
dunno if it is magic, being kilted while browsing or the new software but the site is MUCH faster than in the past. thanks for your time!

Hey Hank, the site is looking really good.
Are the little flags that indicate new posts going to eventually get used everywhere? I find they are much easier to spot than the envelopes. Plus adding a button at the bottom of the thread to return to the selected forum would be nice. Saves the time of having to go back to the top of the page.
Just a couple of suggestions. Thanks for all your hard work.

Hi Dana!
Look down at the bottom of the page, on the right-hand side. Forum Jump will let you navigate to any spot on the entire X Marks forum. By simply clicking on Go, you will be returned to the thread display for this forum section.

new "look"
This is nice, Hank. The more I use it, the more I like it.
Same here, Hank. I was skeptical at first (since I am a bluff old traditionalist!), but the more I use the board, the more I like the new style.
I really like the small Saltires for new message buttons -- that is a very nice touch!
Cheers,
Todd

Hey Mike,
I knew it was just a case of me not knowing how to do it. Thanks for the tip.
