Nice looking tartan in the background. Who designed that? -)

Yes, a nice tartan, but I believe that its reproduction on this web site is flawed. There is an extra vertical line added (a white line). Scroll down to the bottom of any page to get a better look. I think the original file needs to be better cropped.

Could be a function of the browser; I'm not getting the extra lines that I can tell.

Concerning the background, my only suggestion would be to change the font color of the copyright info and other links at the bottom of the page - to white, maybe?

    It looks good to me!!

Seeing it as one big swath, sure makes it look good for a kilt!!!

    Verlyn,

Not be sound like a know-it-all, but I'm pretty sure you do have an extra vertical line. ;) One way to check is to compare the vertical pattern to the horizontal - they should be identical. Starting from the prominent white line, the thread count is:

    White12, DarkBlue64, Neutral?6, DarkBlue6, Neutral?2, DarkBlue6, Neutral?4, Azure?8, DarkBlue2, Yellow4.

    (I'm guessing that A=Azure and N=Neutral).

Compare that pattern to what you see at the bottom (along the horizontal). Correct me if I am wrong.

I do like the header much more now Hank

And I don't know if I did, but just in case, I didn't mean to sound derogatory ;)

I think it all looks nice, but if you are refering to the kilt background, that can easily be fixed (assuming I am correct and it is flawed presently). I'd be glad to contribute a new file to form the basis of the background.
