Philly... USAK and Freedom Kilts

My current itinerary is;
Depart Victoria, BC 1 Jun heading east on Can 1
Sometime one the second day I'll cross the border south of Winnipeg heading to Central Minn. to visit my brothers.
Then to Chicago via Rockford Il.
A short stop in N Indiana and then to Jeff's at PK hopefully on wed the 6th
Then up to Syracuse NY to visit relatives and our own Dr. Barb. I should be in Philly on Fri. the 8th or Sat. the 10th.

I'm all confused now. Is this post from another year? My JUne calendar shows that The 8th of June is a Wednesday, and the weekend is June 11 and 12?

I think steve's using a "Canadian" calendar. HAHAHA

Either way, he'll be here SOMETIME that week and I'll keep everyone updated as to the actual AMERICAN date and times of the event.

RKilt... if you're coming from Canada, make sure to use your conversion tables for the correct date and time. ;)

I had checked the post earlier this morning and going, these dates can't be right I have a wedding anniversary on the 12th on Sunday. Which I think I should be home for...think...hmm I better be home for! So my vote is for the Friday night It's a 9 hour drive for me and I think that's the same in 'merican as canadjun. keep me posted. cheers

My wife has alowed me stay out and play on the Saturday night as well. (We will celebrate our anniversary on the Monday.)
Hey Rocky if PK comes and joins us we will have a lot of kilt customers jonzing as it will be a kiltmakers party!!!! Wonder if Michael of AK can join us as well.
This could be a "Happening" (Am I showing my age?)

Here's the research so far...

July 10 we have "The Shanty's" at Emmit's
July 10 we have Con at Brittinghams (smaller sit down type place... we'd make reservations so we can all have a seat)

July 11 we have "The Shanty's" at Brittingham's (smaller sit down type place... we'd make reservations so we can all have a seat)
July 11 we also have Con at West Chester Kildare's

I'll update with new ideas as they come up... Which night looks better for the "out of towners"? How about both nights?

You are absolutly correct on those dates.

Please change depart date to Fri the 3rd and arrival date in Philly Thu. the 9th or Fri. the 10th. I will be there thru the weekend of the 10th, 11th, and 12th.

Sorry to all who can read a calender correctly. I just tossed out the big white board calender in my shop. it is one of those that starts the week on Mon. and I never could read it.

They say that with age the first thing to go is memory. I can't remember what the second thing is.
