Working for Calgary Transit I have a very odd schedule, but it would be cool to get a bunch of us together at one of the local pubs or something. I try to hit the "Kilt & Caber" pub in McKenzie Towne on Wednesdays if I have the day off. They have a wing night on Wednesdays. As I have this coming Wednesday off I will more than likely be there with my wife, sometime around 5:30ish. As you may well imagine...that particular pub is VERY kilt-friendly.
Bought my first real kilt today. Blackwatch from Highland Scottish shoppe. Thanks for the hint in the other section Tatsudoshi.

Sorry for the delayed reply, but I've been busy this month and have not had a chance to get on the forum lately.
Oh and congrats on the new kilt purchase, and as other members have already stated, it won't be your last. Enjoy...

Welcome to the group Tiran. Sorry about my tardy welcome but I'm glad to read that you got your "real kilt". I understand your hesitancy to wear your "converted kilt" but now that your on your way to changing kilting from costume to clothing there's no turning back! Good job!
