The manufacturer is Highland Industries of Inverness.
I'm slightly embarassed to admit I bought it on Ebay. I had an active search there for over a year before the right jacket showed up. I got a great deal, though.

Very Nice Bob I like the colours
Could you tell me if the place in Inverness has a retail outlet ?I'll be in Inverness in July. They may be worth a look

Hi Bob .. great picture.
Regarding the tie .. my last thread about the students ball/party was all about my national welsh tartan tie .. seems no one's keen on tartan ties and kilts going together. Ive been outvoted by the guys here and will wear a plain one plus I'm due for a telling off soon from Hamish over it .. lol
Take care

Well the tartan tie is not as bad as those who wear tartans that don't match!! and I've seen that happen!
Pipe bands wear tartan ties.

shame on you Derek, go and write 100 times "I will follow Hamish's example" in your best script!
However, our Bob here looks nicely co-ordinated, and don't be ashamed of buying from Ebay, just be careful and thankful that your purchase worked out OK!

Very nice! I really like the traditional kilt and the new jacket. Oops. I missed the tartan tie. Can't say I like that very well, but I'm not the one wearing it. There are NOT very many rules when it comes to kilts - casual, formal, day, etc., but tartan ties are generally a no-no.
