I was out this evening working on my deck in my Survival. Temp was about 85 tonight with about 80% humidity and though I was still sweating like crazy the flexibility I had to move and bend without having to constantly pull up my pants was great.

At first I thought the stiffness of the cloth would be a negative but I think it actually helped to keep the kilt from clinging to my legs so I always had freedom of movement.
