Okay i'll try again to post a picture but duhno if it'll work.
About the kilt
I made it in three days, It has a box pleat, and as far as i know i did it all by the rules I made it from a polyester like material. They often make trousers from that material ( suits and stuff) The entire kilt cost me about 3 euro's.
Better than 500 huh?
I made three kilt's now. The first one whas just a test, the second one whas a bearkilt but that didn't work out the way i planned.

I reckon it must be an issue with myphotoalbum.com not liking the hot-linking, I don't know. I tried to modify it for you, but the URL keeps coming up truncated. Sorry.
Whenever you link to an image on a given site, every view of the image taxes that site's disk transfer, so many sites prevent hot-linking for that very reason. And I suspect that is the situation here.
The kilt does look good, though. ;)

Not very..... Compared to the black polyester trousers i'm wearing most of the time. This is much cooler. The only thing is that this material is a little itching. aspecially when it's getting sweatty under there, hehehehe
I'm now looking for a material with a tartan. Think that is much better to wear cassually. The blue one is for a wedding i have in a few weeks.

Awesome, I've got this natural defence against polyester myself I guess. Definitely looks good.
