Toad, click on the USAKilts banner at the top of this page.

Check out the Rob Roy Day Sporran. Most folk around here have one... They are wonderful and practical.

This is a pic of me banging out some tunes on my drum kit, 4 days before my wedding in May 1997. I'm hiding behind a cymbal.
We were a rock/blues/country cover band made up of car club members, and we were recording a few songs just for fun.
Sadly, I sold the kit a few years ago and have pretty much given up playing.

I'm with Bubba as far as the stereo is concerned.

I dance at the coffee shop (no need for playing an instrument), listen to friends at various venues play their stuff. Hum a lot, but as far as anything else no.

Seriously I have just recently started looking into learning the harp as Brian Boru is sort of an inspiration for me, and he was a harpist.

I play guitar, harmonica and sing. I have been known to get out
on occasion and lead a 5 piece blues band. Have never done so
    in a kilt...............yet.
Have not been playing much of late though.

What musical instruments do I play?

Piano, guitar, trumpet, saxophone, recorder, pipe organ. I also sing.

I've done a lot of music for my church as well as singing with a symphonic chorus with either the Minnesota Orchestra or the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. I also worked at our local Renaissance Faire for a few years as a musician. I used one of my guitars and sang, or played one of my recorders. I decided to wear a great kilt during the "Scottish Fair" weekend and just kept on wearing it from then on.

I also started learning the pipes about 8 years ago, but ran out of time. I still have my chanter, though, and pull it out now and then.

Hey Toad... click on the Barleyjuice link to see what kilts can do for a band!

I play, primarily, the whistles with them but have the ability play the guitar, banjo, keyboards, bodhran and harmonica. I only do those on the rare occasion that I get bored. Besides, we have enough people that I really don't need to play them.

No matter how you decide to accessorize them, kilts are a wonderful thing on stage! Ah... the cool freedom under stage lights!!!
