Thanks for a great pic Ham.
I got my leather RKilt in saffron, before British Tan was a choice...now I want another one!!
Both my brown leather UK and my saffron RKilt are great, but I find myself wearing the RKilt more because of the pockets. Glad UK is adding pocketes to their leather kilts, just wish it had happened before I spent sooo much for one without. My brown Freelander sporran does work well with the leather UK, ironically its held up with an RKilt sporran strap ;)
I've worn my leather RKilt here in the southwest U.S. in the summer...but the trick was to wear it at high altitude (7,800') where its cooler or indoors in the air conditioning at a banquet.
What I do like about wearing leather kilts in hot weather is that it seems to help the leather "mold" to my body better. The leather sort of stretches out then finds where it belongs if I wear the kilt hiking in the heat a while. Seems to make it "my" kilt.
And hey, ain't that leather smell great??!!

"I'll have a kilt please, a nice hand sewn tartan, 16 ounce Strome. Oh, and a sporran on the side, with a strap please."
