I like the simplicity of the design. When you have a large, ornate silver buckle and an elaborate sporran it makes your crotch look like Las Vegas

Someone said it in another thread that your accessories should compliment your kilt. These sporrans look like a good mix.

I like the second one the best, both in form and clasp design.

Nice work on all of them. Clean, simple designs well executed. I've been looking for a nice day sporran......

I like them all! However the second one is probably my favorite.

    Well done!

All three of them look great, they are very well designed and well made.

    Good job!

All very nicely done, but I'll have to put in my vote for #3 as my favorite.

Very nicely done, Ranald! I'm going to go with davedove and also put my vote behind No.#3, although I would be proud to wear any of them. By the looks of the workmanship, I'd say you've had experience with leather before this project. Have you hand stitched these sporrans or machine stiched. Now... what will you do for an encore! 8)

Thanks guys , I thought it was about time to share just as you all do and thanks to all for kicking me up the rear end and actually make the pictures happen.
Blu ,I think it maybe a semi dress sporran with deer hide (fur on)As I'm a re-enactor with the vikings I find making things very rewarding(not just money).
The three sporrans were all made by hand and hand sewn (electric drill to make the holes though), what is interesting is what people like.
My favourite one is the second and is inspired by sporran I saw on Hamish gallery(thanks Ham).It was meant to be a scottish thistle design but the detail didn't quite reach my expectations. It's the one I wear though!
I did find that the more leather I worked the better I got at it.If I was to take this up professionally a quicker way to make the holes would need to be found.
Glad you liked them best wishes.
DreadBelly sorry not sure what to do about that.
