I should say it's not something I would think of doing... but if you think about it, the look would be reminiscent of the great kilt - like the movie Rob Roy. If this is just for fun... say a party or a renfair or a pub... try it out! If it's a fine restaurant or formal occasion, you might want to reconsider. But what the hey... ya gotta live a little sometimes - yaknow!
