My great-great-granddad was there with the 50th NY Engineers. The guys from my hometown were there on Culp's Hill in the 137th NY Vol Inf. I, however, will not be there for kilt night! 4 hours is a bit too far of a trek (though I wouldn't have hesitated 20 years ago when I was still young, crazy and single!)....
